Every morning I religiously check in on the Cormacmccarthy.com website for a good dose of inspired pedantry. The clientele of this online bistro are a flock of rabid ouzels bobbing in a creek of literary ephemera, reminding me of the medieval theological debates over how many angels can dance on the head of a pin. Nevertheless, with McCarthy's two new books coming out, this scholarly volcano of commentary and critique is great fun and a revealing look into the esoteric world of academia. Book lovers might check it out for some high entertainment and will likely be exposed to some writing of note. SvH
