Cutting The Cord / TV Antennae - Sal DeVincenzo (Admin) - 11-04-2022 Wondering if anyone has any good info on getting TV signals into our TVs from the Bar-K or Jamestown. Cutting The Cord / TV Antennae - Sal DeVincenzo (Admin) - 11-04-2022 Are you using an antenna on your house to pick up TV stations? Been exploring this option for quite some time now since canceling our DISH account. We had subscribed to Locast but that service is now gone. Lots of information online just wondering if there's any real time Bar-K resident experience with outdoor antenna HDTV or pay for streaming services that brings local television stations over the air or over the internet. Anything of interest please reply to this post thank you. Hi Sal, We use tv.youtube.com to stream local and network channels over Starlink. You can have up to 5 family accounts, but only 3 can be in use at any one time. You can also record shows with an online DVR at no additional cost. Let me know if you need more info. Buzz RE: Cutting The Cord / TV Antennae - Sal DeVincenzo (Admin) - 11-04-2022 Thank you Buzz UTube TV seems like one of the best choices for a paid service. RE: Cutting The Cord / TV Antennae - Jay - 11-04-2022 We’ve had an exterior antenna picking Denver HD signals since cutting the cord in 2019. Love it. Easily slid onto the old DirecTV house mount, the coax was already in place too. Via Amazon: Yagi TV Antenna – HD Antenna with Super Long 75 Mile Range – Long Range Digital OTA Antenna for Clear VHF & UHF Reception, NexGenTV ™ Compatible, Supports 4K/8K 1080p TVs RE: Cutting The Cord / TV Antennae - joeryan80481 - 11-05-2022 We get "free" TV with a rooftop antenna on a rotating mast at our house across from Rock Lake. The antenna is an "Antennas Direct - ClearStream 4MAX Indoor/Outdoor UHF/VHF HDTV Antenna" from Best Buy. The rotating mast is connected to a controller inside by a long cable (along with the antenna cable). Most of the stations come in at one antenna rotation, and Fox (channel 22) requires dialing to another rotation, which seems to match where the antenna maps show the best directions for reception. |
