Gauge for the water level at Lower Main bridge - CheyenneWills - 05-10-2023

Just a handy link for the gauge for the water level of James Creek.  The sensor is on the downstream side of the lower Main St bridge.

Very interesting.  Thanks for putting this up.  There are unrealistic spikes in December and February that I assume are result of some cold weather conditions.

Looking at the actual sensor, which is attached to the side of the bridge span and is "pointing downward", so it's not measuring from the bottom of the creek bed, but the distance from the sensor to the surface of the water (the higher the water level, the smaller distance is measured).  If that is the case, then the odd winter readings could be from ice in the creek and the sensor is measuring the surface of the ice.
