Cal-wood Education Center is looking for local individuals that would enjoy working with kids one or more evenings, Monday-Thursday from 7 - 9 pm. We will train anyone that enjoys working with kids, can pass a background check and would be comfortable leading a small group (10-15 people) hiking a short distance at night.
The main activity is leading sunset / night walks (depending on the time of year) which include short educational activities, games, star gazing, solo sits and nature appreciation. Opportunities to participate in campfires and other educational activities will be available, but not required of you.
We pay $20/hour and can extend the shift up to 4 hours to include facilitating large group dinners in our dining room. We are located 4 miles from Jamestown up County Road 87.
