MOUNTAIN FOOD RESCUE - Lynnie - 11-30-2021
FOOD PANTRY TONIGHT!
Mountain Food Rescue Pantry tonight from 6 - 7pm.
At the temporary Fire Hall next the the Tennis Courts in the Big Park!
This is another even BIGGER pantry than last Tuesday evening!
Please bring your own boxes or bags and please consider picking up some groceries for
friends, neighbors or families that can't make it down this evening!
Once again, we have filled all the fridges with prepared foods, prepared fruits and veggies .
Quite a large amount of regular produce including potatoes, green, yellow, and red peppers,
tangelos, bananas etc. Lots of pastries and bread, dry goods, canned goods, milk, 1/2 n 1/2,
and even some eggs.
IMPORTANT SAFETY TIP! Now that we have switched from Daylight Savings Time it is DARK at the
Pantry by 6:00! So until we can figure out a fix for some outside lighting please bring a flashlight, or a head lamp
and please be careful driving into the parking area where people are milling about.
Masks are REQUIRED inside the building.
One last note: The HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIR is scheduled for December 11, and conflicts a bit with the regular pantry time.
We are thinking of opening either at 9:30 to 10:30 or 10:00 to 11:00 so you will be free to support our local artists at the Fair!
Let our volunteers know what you think about the earlier times when you come down tonight!
