Music in the Town Park this Saturday, please read! - Jamestown Merc - 06-17-2024
This Saturday June 22[sup]nd[/sup]-
Saturday Afternoon Music in the Town Park-
This Saturday, The River Arkansas is coming to play in the Little Park with three of their friend bands leading up to it!
Prairie Wolf, Paul DeHaven Band and Pioneer Mother will also play, starting at 4pm.
The four bands will alternate between the Park and Town Hall, ending at 10pm
The bands’ intent is to charge $20 per person to split between the musicians coming to play, although ALL JAMESTOWN RESIDENTS are welcome to come regardless of payment.
Please just swing on by The Merc front porch for your wristband, payment or no payment.
(And to be clear, no one is checking wristbands anywhere- the wristbands are a symbol of payment and support, as the hope from the bands is to make a few bucks for sharing their art!)
The Merc will be providing BBQ plates, Pulled Pork Sandwiches (or BBQ Tofu) with Slaw, Potato Salad, Green Salad and more sides. So come on down this Saturday for a nice BBQ cook out and mini music festival: River on the Mountain
Bring a blanket or chairs and enjoy summer in our beautiful park.
