Jack the Dog crying on Mesa St - cz11@msn.com - 06-24-2024

Does anyone know why Jack the Dog is CRYING on Mesa St today (June 24, 2024), going from door to door?
This is unusual behavior from my experience.  Normally he is quiet, even playful.
Could something have happened to his owner?   I don't know who owns Jack.

Not sure which dog is Jack, West Mesa has its share of Free-Ranging barking dogs and some to the south up the hill, really annoying, there also seems to be one or two on Main St and West that bark incessantly. Difficult to get 5 minutes peace and quiet outside in the yard these days.

I got nothing against dogs, just don't have the need for one, they're a big responsibility, but I'm supposed to deal with the barking. They're like unruly children with less than effective parenting.

I texted Seth and he’s on his way home from Ned. He said: Hard to say! I’m on my way home from Ned. I’m sure he’s fine. He can be really loud when he’s communicating sometimes but I’m sure he’s fine.

Jack is showing his age.  He just keeps hobbling along.  I petted and talked to him on the way to the Food Share.
He seemed fine to me. Might have been having a Senior Moment.  It happens.  Hard to watch our K9s age.

Thanks for all the Jac love, friends!  He is comfortably ensconced on his dog bed in his home now.  Heart

Thanks for the update.  He must have been feeling lonely today.
