Comet Leonard (C/2021 A1) - CheyenneWills - 12-21-2021

I was able to get a faint image of the comet (no telescope, just the camera with the kit lens, on a tripod).  It's a stack of 3 images, each 15 seconds long.

The comet is towards the bottom and you can see a faint tail (I had adjust the "curve" quite a bit to make the tail a little more visible).

I haven't seen the comet without the aid of binoculars (or telescope).

Right now it's still "visible" in the evening towards the south west.  The bright "star" in the SW is Venus, if you look up and to the left of Venus you should see a dimmer "star", then a brighter "star" in a line, those are Saturn and Jupiter respectively.  The comet for tonight should be to the left of Venus and below Saturn (about equidistant from both of them).  You will need a clear view of the south west horizon and a pair of good binoculars.
