My current insurance company is leaving Colorado and I was advised to try State Farm. After inspection and jumping through many hoops, in the end I was rejected even though I was willing to pay the $3000 increase over a quote I received in April.
My husband, Don was a veteran so I called USAA. In 2 hours all my insurance needs were met with the same coverage I now have and at a very similar price. No hoops or inspections.
If you are struggling with the insurance market it is worth looking into. The connection can be a parent or grandparent that served in the military and maybe worked in other federal positions. It never hurts to ask.
USAA is a company with many products - not just insurance.
