Potable Water - C.H. - 12-27-2021

Is there a place in Boulder County or anywhere else near by where I can fill a 250 gallon tank in the back of my truck?

C.H. there is a Fill Station in Hygiene, just north of the 3-way stop sign, maybe a 100 yards, give or take, on the west side, in this link is an image, and it is facing south, best I can do for directions. The last time I was there it only takes Quarters, maybe $5 to fill a 250 gal tank, bring plenty of quarters. :O)

The City of Boulder also has a water fill station at their East Pearl St. facility, you'll have to register and give a deposit to get a key, best to contact them, its been 10 years since I've used either.

I checked out bulk water in Hygiene two weeks ago. West side of 75th and just north of the post office. A simple, coin operated system. 19 quarters (aprox $5) to fill 325 gallons.

Lyons bulk water requires a monthly flat fee of $25, and charges $4/1,000 gallons.

I used Boulders municipal watering hole for years ($4/500 gallons) but they closed because, “it was not paying for itself.”
