Stonemason Looking for Help and Winter Work - EricH - 11-14-2024 Howdy, neighbors! This is Eric Harms at Springdale (2 miles downstream of JT). You may have noticed the wonderful stonemasonry taking place for our garage project, just north off the side of the highway. Our mason, Jacques Ouellete, is from Lyons and is outrageously skilled, hard-working, and so easy to work with. However, he wanted me to spread the word about a couple of topics. First, he is looking for one more project to take on over the winter. If anyone is doing some remodeling and needs interior stone or tilework done, I'd recommend him in a heartbeat. Second, he'd like to hire a helper! He has one spot for full-time work that would last through the winter and into next year. In addition to getting paid, this would be an excellent opportunity to learn some incredibly valuable skills -- not just in stonemasonry, but in all kinds of construction. Jacques is working here most days and would be happy to chat with anyone who might be interested in the above. Our address is 1126 James Canyon Drive. If you see a large white truck parked on the pullout to the south, you'll know he is here on-site. Also, if anyone would like to contact Jacques, he can be reached at jacquesofallstone AT outlook.com or (207) 408-4648. Thanks, and have a good day! |
