MOUNTAIN FOOD RESCUE - Lynnie - 12-30-2024
LAST PANTRY OF 2024 TONIGHT! MONDAY DECEMBER 30TH FROM 5:30 - 6:30
YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS ONE! EVERY FRIDGE AND FREEZER ARE STUFFED FULL!
CAUTION! Cemetery Road, Rose M (by Stoke's) and the hill into the parking lot are very icy! Please, please go slow tonight! In fact, after reading some of the posts on the BB today, it appears that many of the town roads are treacherous!!!
Here are some of the items available tonight: MILK, oat milk, EGGS, cheese and more CHEESE, yogurt, lots of prepared meals, single serving, and family size. Lots of prepared salads and bags of salad greens, burritos, sandwiches, pizzas, MUSHROOMS, brussel sprouts, potatoes, avocados, celery, apples, oranges and more oranges (please take some, they are good for you!), assorted bell peppers, carrots, bananas, blueberries, black berries, strawberries, zucchini, tomatoes, broccoli, green beans, GINGER ROOT, and more. We also received a large amount of baked goods, cakes, pastries, cookies, bread, DAVE'S KILLER BREAD, buns, muffins, bagels etc. We also have MEATS! Hamburger, boneless chicken thighs, chicken tenderloins, ground turkey, plant based meats, turkeys, bacon, whole chickens, pork, and more. We were finally able to restock some of our canned goods and drinks. Community Food Share has been closed the last 2 Mondays. We have baking supplies, and pasta and rice. So much amazing food! I would have to guess that our drivers brought in well over 2,000 lbs of food today.

I just want to reiterate- it’s is so extremely icy, in an SUV I was sliding on the road and both hills- slid down going into the parking lot and sliding down on the exit from Rose M road to lower Main Street
Please please drive slow and cautiously.
