Searching for help! - Mandy Isaacs - 01-20-2025
Hello Jamestown, this is Mandy (Boulder), Kaynes mom. Dereck was in a car accident last week and is still in the hospital. When he is released this week, he will not be able to care for himself or the dog so i am searching for a short term foster or share responsibility to check on him. Right now someone is tending to the dog at home, but if some could rally together and help to take some pressure off of others, I would be so appreciative.
Dereck has not retrieved his phone from the accident yet so he has no communication besides his hospital phone. I have taken over responsibility for figuring all this out so whatever help or advice is greatly appreciated. Dereck has a concussion, along with other injuries that keeps him from accomplishing a lot on his own. Unfortunately I dont have a lot of answers but having help with the dog for a month is a goal I am looking for.

Mandy, I can take Acab half time. I live near Derek, and Acab and I are friends. The problem is that my wife is in Alzheimer's care in Boulder, and I spend half of each week with her. She isn't walking very well, and I can't take him into her apartment. He'd knock her down for sure. He almost knocks me down. Perhaps I could take him from Friday to Monday if someone else could host him the rest of the week. I can be flexible as to the days.
