FOOD PANTRY TONIGHT! MONDAY APRIL 1ST 6:00 TO 7:00 PM
Big pantry tonight! After 2 weeks of rather small pickups, we have a great one for you tonight!
Lots of produce! Carrots, potatoes, squash, green peppers, onions, avocados, blood oranges, pineapple, strawberries, lemons, limes, packaged greens, brussel sprouts, OH MY! And finally we received our normal amount of bread and pastries! We have milk, still NO eggs, yogurt, prepared foods, mango and pico de gallo salsas, cut up watermelon and other fruits, grapes, tomatoes. You really have to see it to believe it! And it's all free! I am reminded every week how lucky we are to receive this amazing bounty! And thank you again to all the volunteers who make this happen every week!
We also have a really big assortment of drinks this week and well as some leftover Easter swag (plastic eggs made of 100% recycled content) some cute cloth Easter baskets, and Easter Advent calendars? Plenty of snacks and chips, and some frozen meals and I think we still have a frozen turkey from last week
And finally, another way you can support your pantry besides donating money. Cyndi and Gary donated a bear proof trash can to the pantry so you could donate and orange bag every now and again to help us out with the trash every week.
Come on down, rescue some food, say hi to your neighbors, and thank your volunteers!
