As a kind of nostalgic homage to the season I thought I'd show a couple of short autumnal idylls by the great humorist and raconteur, Jean Shepherd. They are, "THE PHANTOM OF THE OPEN HEARTH" and "THE STAR-CROSSED LOVE OF JOSEPHINE KOSNOWSKI". If you grew up in the midwest or in the forties/fifties, or are a millennial curious about old farts and how they got that way, you would dig these. I always enjoy some company. SvH
