This morning, feeling a little peckish and jaded with the direness slathering the media,[attachment=2262]
I fished out my old copy of Henry Miller's "THE AIR CONDITIONED NIGHTMARE". After a couple chapters I had regained a modicum of equilibrium I trust will last through the rest of the day (with fingers crossed). I was particularly taken by the chapter "A Desert Rat". I think this book is a great travel epic ranking right up there with "ON THE ROAD". For some sardonic humor and continental irony you might give it a try - It's a goodun. SvH
