FOOD PANTRY TONIGHT! MONDAY JULY 8 FROM 5:30 - 6:30PM
SUPER HUGE PANTRY TONIGHT! IT TOOK 10 OF US ALMOST 4 HOURS TO UNLOAD, WEIGH, PUT AWAY, AND BREAK DOWN ALL THE CARDBOARD!
We have a lot of food that needs rescuing tonight!
Lots of prepared foods, some family size meals as well as some good looking salmon and crab cakes and sushi, lots of Urban Remedy premade salads, cut up fruit, and boatloads of cheese. In the produce department we have lots of mushrooms (remember if you don't want to take the whole box or bag of some produce, we have plastic bags available that you can use to break down the amount you want), we also have bell peppers, really juicy looking tomatoes, carrots, avocados, melons, cantelopes, apples, oranges, peaches, nectarines, and grapes (again you can break down a box to suit your needs). We also have milk and EGGS! Once again we have lots of burritos, packaged salad greens, plenty of bread, bagels, muffins, cookies, pastries, and CAKES! I think I saw one lonely eggplant... We have drinks, granola bars, chips, cereal, snacks, crackers, and canned goods ( we scored some tomato sauce and diced tomatoes!) Also some interesting pantry items including some reading glasses and some ice plants for your garden.
So please plan on attending tonight and remember, if you can leave a donation we would really appreciate whatever amount you can give!
