Good morning neighbors-
Our district has from time to time attracted a certain element of mayhem, mostly because we are the first dark canyon N of Denver. It seems that recently we've seen an escalation in unusual call types, which always helps us stay sharp! Our responders are held to a standard of discretion where we will always protect the privacy and dignity of the Patients and families we serve. If there is ever a situation where we would want a community that we serve to protect in place, lock the doors and stay inside, or evacuate either the Sheriff Deputies or we will contact dispatch and ask that an Everbridge (reverse 911) message be sent. If you're not sure that you are registered with the county's Everbridge alerting system, you can check the Lefthand website under Residents and the Emergency alerting tab in that drop down menu, or you can use this: https://member.everbridge.net/453003085612231/login . You can list your landline and your cell phone so you can be informed for any incident type that may affect your residence if responders feel there is a need to caution or evacuate a community. Please take a moment and ensure that you are enrolled today!
And as always, we are welcoming volunteers for emergency service (structure fire, wildland fire, EMS/rescue/HAZMAT etc.), you can find an application on our website as well under the Join tab!
Cheers!
