We had ViaSat for many years before we moved to a house with Starlink already present. ViaSat was kind of a mixed bag. Reliability was great--we had virtually no service interruptions (which I take it is not the case with CenturyLink), and we could plug it into a generator and have internet when the power was out. But it wasn't fast enough and/or data transfer limits prevented us from being able to stream TV and movies, use VPNs without interruption for work, or get rid of our landline. So it kind of depends on your internet needs--ViaSat is fine for email and web surfing, but it's questionable for anything much beyond that. Hope this helps.

We've been happy with Nedernet if they can reach you with their signal. We stream TV too with no problems.
