I remember seeing a thread a few months ago about the internet connection being somewhat troublesome. Has that improved at all?

I use Nedernet and they can be spotty at times. Speed fluctuates wildly depending on who else is online and uptime is hit or miss. At least ping times are generally pretty low.

I switched to ViaSat from HughesNet about a year ago and it's been consistently better. I've tried Nedernet, the local internet Elevations, and whoever else is out there but because of where I am on Tilghman they've always had a hard time getting me connected.

ViaSat is not cheap, but it works well enough that I can work from home a few days a week and not worry about it going out.
