There are 35 Senate Districts in CO. We (Jamestown, Bar K, Estes, Lyons, Gold Hill, Red Feather Lakes, Loveland, Longmont) are SD15. At the moment, 20 districts in the CO Senate are represented by Democrats, 15 by GOP. Seventeen are up for re-election in Nov. District 15 has a very large group of independent voters which makes it hard to predict the outcome. Without the independents, the District leans Republican. Marchman has long list of endorsements, including CO-D Rep Joe Neguse; her opponent Rob Woodward is endorsed by CO-R Rep Ken Buck.

Because Co SD15 is so big, the more rural votes will now influence significantly the previously Democrat lean of our area. You may meet the Democrat incumbent tonight at Stokes’s house, 5-6:30.
She is challenging Republican Rob Woodward who has had the CO Senate seat since 2019. Both candidates live in Loveland.
