Holy Schnikes, JAM Members!!! BiaH#14 was a RAGING SUCCESS in every way!!! To every single person who made it so, including those who attended, we THANK YOU!
This was an AMAZING feat we accomplished together! Special thanks to EVERY BAND MEMBER who signed up and stuck it out to the very end to give such MAGICAL PERFORMANCES! Seriously, we dare to suck, but no one EVER does! Your song choices and the execution of your sets were incredible and deeply enjoyed by all! Thank you for having the COURAGE and for DOING IT!
Behind the scenes, there were SO MANY HELPERS at work doing all the little things that added up to that unique experience! There are too many names to mention, but most of them are in the show program, so please extend a handshake or pat on the back to every single person in there and support the sponsors who advertised! Every contributor in that program gets a complimentary copy, so if you did not receive one, please let me know and I will get it to you asap! Special thanks to Sal DeVincenzo for creating and presenting the beautiful slideshow on that giant TV, providing tech, photographing, and recording our events! Extra special thanks to those who found the energy and stayed late to help clean up Town Hall!
Finally, together we raised over $1,000 profit to benefit JAM!!! THAT IS INCREDIBLE FOR ONE NIGHT! This money will be used to support The Arts in the future, including upgrading our venues and equipment while directly supporting artists and musicians in many other ways! Congratulations to us all for making JAM all it can possibly be!
As I said on the microphone last night, stay tuned for Band in a Hat #15 in about a year! Go to those Open Mics and Karaoke nights and sing your hearts out! Play and practice your instruments daily! Get together with friends and neighbors to JAM! And may we all get ready for yet another stellar, magical night of music, laughter, dancing, and fun!
In the meantime, JAM is gearing up for more events this year, including theatrical and musical performances, craft fairs, and whatever else we members create! PLEASE get involved, recruit others, and join us at our next JAM Gathering (details below)...
