I was unhappy with the sound on my computer and was ready to spend a few hundred dollars
for a sound system. Given this situation, the most likely advice I'd get was recommendatoins for some good speakers.
Sal approached it differently - he asked what equipment I had in the house.
Turns out that I have a Bose sound bar on my FireTV.
By casting my Win11 computer to the FireTV, and getting open-source free equalizer software from sourceforge (Equalizer APO) I saved a couple hundred dollars. Native Windows doesn't provide this functionality - I don't know about Apple,
but there are similar packages for Mac.
What a great community to have so many competent experts!
And yeah, I paid Sal in addition to writing this endorsement.
