It’s hard to express just how much is going on in this 130 year old building this week- the old walls of the Merc are gonna be tired when it’s over, but we’re going to show this winter who’s boss!
It’s a lot to read- but it will be worth it….
Wednesday is burger night- This Wednesday we’ll show short films- Trivia:Q.: Does anyone know the name of the silent film star who grew up in Jamestown? A.: Douglas Fairbanks Sr Q.: Does anyone know the name of the short film that he starred in as a cocaine addicted doctor? A.: Coke Ennyday Come in for a burger, Chicken Sandwich, Fries or Salad and catch this gem of a film starring one of our former residents.
Thursday-
KATE FARMER is coming. Not only did she grow up here in Jamestown, she has a voice to swoon to. It’s always a special night when she returns. Rainbow is making a real deal Bolognese, with fresh pasta. There will be salad, fried snacks, amazing desserts by Jess.
Friday-
MR MIKE BAND UNPLUGGED will be playing tunes for us. Friday night shareable plates will include delicious bruschetta, Eggplant Caponata, chorizo stuffed dates, Mussels and Fries. Come chill with us.
Saturday-
Hopefully you already know about it, and your whole family is coming and all of your friends and your cousins and all of their friends?
It should be a total hoot!
COSMIC WINTER WONDERFEST
Starts at 2pm goes until 10pm
FOUR BANDS: Poorfree, Bearhat, Alcapones, Rolling Harvest $15
Psychics, vending, tarot, henna, all next door in the Town Hall
Paella, Salads, Spanish Pringas (Spicy Pork and Chorizo Sandwiches) Hot Mulled Wine, Margs
Gather around the fire barrel and let’s celebrate winter together
Sunday-
Brunch will be the BEST- with music by what’s quickly becoming our insanely talented Brunch House Band- John Shepard and the Front Porch Posse. Vocals by Wrenn Van. Catch her before she’s way too famous to visit us. There will be Hollandaise and Green Chile covering plates of happiness.
Monday – Whitney’s Cocktail Class is SOLD OUT but be on the lookout for the next one this spring!
