After long days and nights dreaming of the concept, our first-
SCIENCE WITH STRANGERS dinner is coming to fruition!
The Science with Strangers dinner series will feature different discussion topics, including mini 5-10 minute lectures by experts in the field, followed by a dinner course and discussion at your dinner table, where you will be seated with strangers. And of course, it’s a small world- it’s possible everyone might not be total strangers
During the dessert course, you will switch seats and be able to chat with friends, new or old.
The first Science with Strangers Dinner Topic is: CONSCIOUSNESS
The guest lecturers are, Dave Huber, PhD Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience, Rob Rupert, PhD Professor of Philosophy and Tim Shear, PhD Professor of Philosophy. There is also the hopeful potential of a non-materialist consciousness expert, tbd.
Tuesday March 12th 6pm $65/each
The menu is going to involve a Shrimp or Cauliflower Appetizer; A Fennel, Grapefruit and Olive salad; Chicken or Eggplant Piccata; Tiramisu for Dessert, and includes two drinks of your choice(Beer, Wine, Kombucha, Coffee, Tea or Sparkly Consciousness Cocktail)
Our last few Seated-RSVP Dinners have sold out in less than a few hours, so if you would like to try Science With Strangers, RSVP as soon as possible!
