Internet Providers

Moving into the Bar-K hood at the end of the month. Any recommendations for internet providers? Current have Xfinity and doesn't look like they are available there. Thanks! ES

Nedernet is a local company and then there’s ViaSat and Hughes Net as well.

I work from home and went with Starlink. It’s reliable and there’s no cap on data. Here’s my referral code that gets you and I a free month!

Welcome to the hood!

Starlink for me.  Nedernet in my location in Bar-K was unable to even stream radio, but my next door neighbors say it's fine.

Sal is nonpareil  for tech support here in the mountains - on consumer and professional systems of all sorts,
such as security cameras, sound systems, internet, phones and more.  He saved  me big bucks by determining that I didn't need new equipment,
because I wasn't using what  I had already to its full capability.
His knowledge of the mountains vs.  the canyons reflects 25 years of living here too.
A year ago, Starlink wasn't built out enough to get  in all  parts of the canyon, now it's good up and down James Canyon and others.
OK - you have to deal  with Elon Musk to get it (his name is an anagram for Lone Skum, as you've undoubtedly noticed),  but
Century Link ain't any better.
Investing in a little tech support from Sal has paid me huge dividends over the years.
