Bar-K Coyotes

If you have free range pets, just an PSA. Around 11:30pm last night, a large pack of coyotes caught something off St Vrain Trl (between SVT and the fire trail). Lots of yipping, screaming and howling. It was terrifying.

Last time I heard that, a friend and I went to investigate, it was a pack of coyotes feeding on an elk carcass, 2 nights in a row, on the third night we saw a mountain lion drag what was left of the carcass approx 50 yds away and cover it with pine needles, on the fourth night we saw the lion come back to feed off of it. That's nature.
