RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 6 PM MDT
THIS EVENING FOR THE FOOTHILLS...PALMER DIVIDE AND PLAINS DUE TO
GUSTY WINDS AND DRY FUELS.  FIRE WEATHER ZONES 215, 216, 241, 242
243, 244, 245, 245, 246, 247, 248, 249, 250 AND 251.  

.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...
Critical fire conditions will be in place from late this morning
through the afternoon hours, from the foothills across the plans,
due to dry fuels and gusty northwest winds up to 50 mph associated
with a cold front.  The fire danger will decrease by late this
afternoon into the early evening hours as winds decrease and
humidity increases. 
TODAY...
Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny. Patchy blowing dust after 1000
                    until 1300.
Max Temperature.....67-71.
   24 hr trend......2-4 degrees cooler.
Min Humidity........21-25%.
   24 hr trend......7-10% drier.
20-foot winds.......Southwest winds 7-14 mph until 1200, then
                    northwest 13-20 mph. Gusts up to 45 mph.
Haines Index........4 or low.

CWR.................0 percent.
15K FT MSL winds....West 40-50 mph.
Mixing height.......1500-2500 ft AGL until 1000, then 6500-7500 ft
