YOUNG BEAR IN JT !

Hey JimBillies ~

A young (probably yearling) BEAR was chased out of a yard on Lower Main late this afternoon!
Not a good sign, hanging out in town in daylight!  This is most likely the same Knucklehead that
has been roaming town for a couple three weeks.  This BEAR is going to get into trouble if we
don't secure out Homes, Cars and Trash.  It is no coincidence that Our Bear is in town on TRASH DAY!

Max and I saw a bear a little before 5:00 this afternoon.  I wonder if it is the same one.  Off 12th on the hill just past the broken down barn.  It did not look very big but had a very distinct brown stripe running down its back.   It was quite preoccupied with something under a tree, possibly a carcass, and was accompanied by a Magpie trying to tell it that its dining reservation was not until later and that it was interrupting Magpie's first seating. 

In other news, Max found a very fresh set of very small deer feet just off the trail near the top of the climb from Gillespie Gulch to the Owens Flats saddle on the same walk.
