Meteor this morning!
#1
I just happened to be up around 3:30 and saw a strange flash of light, then shortly after, felt a shock wave. I wondered if it was a meteor, and I turned on the scanner in case of fire. Turns out it was actually pretty darn close. "According to AMS, the meteor likely traveled from around Allenspark to just south of Idaho Springs in the mountains west of the Denver metro." Anybody else catch it?

Yes, 3:30am! I saw it and a few minutes later HEARD it. It was bizarre. So glad you found that link. I looked earlier but could not find a report.

Here is a screen shot my security cam footage at 3:30 this morning. I would love to have picked up the deep BOOM occurring a few minutes later.
