Bear- east JT
#1
5pm bear in traffic.

Look, I wasn’t speeding and neither was the guy behind me, but I just locked up my brakes coming home around the first blind curve east of JT.

A large bear ran from the north/cliffside and into the roadway right in front of my truck. It’s a bad look for a biologist to hit a bear ?. Good grief!
I wasn’t expecting that one!

Reddish brown, long shaggy coat, pretty big adult. Doesn’t look before crossing.

You're forgetting two important details, 'Intent' and or 'Neglect', neither were present, guilt can play weird tricks on the mind, you're smarter than that :O)

Worse comes to worse, petting zoo's are pretty cool, probably not a bad gig  :O)

People, to be clear (Hollis is concerned), I did not actually hit the bear. But it did highlight the additional risk to bears and other wildlife drawn to JT’s resources.

Hollis, I’ll send over some milk and cookies ?
