FOOD PANTRY TONIGHT! MONDAY FEBRUARY 17. 5:30 - 6:30PM
Smaller pantry tonight- CFS was closed but still an amazing selection, expect limits on certain things though!
But even more amazing is the synchronicity of the type of abundance that was provided today! The higher powers are doing all they can to make this JES chili cook-off the most successful school fund raiser possible
Today Whole Foods provided our pantry with 400 lbs of ground pork (in 3lb blocks) and about 5 or 6 large tubes of ground beef (approx 10lb each) * check out pix below*
Therefore- plan with a few neighbors or friends how to divvy up the large portions so each of you can bring a batch of chili to the cook-off!!!! ?
The road to the pantry has a surprisingly slippery snap layer of snow -similar to Sat. snow. Please be careful! And PLEASE give extra room on the driveway/hill to and from the building. Seriously, people have slid. Also at the tricky slope from cemetery to lower main.
besides the abundance of meat!!!!
Still variety, and fun.
Great produce, apples, oranges, lemons, limes, grapes, tomatoes, onions, potatoes, yams, , cucumbers, squash, and more!
Plenty of fresh prepared foods, salads, single serving meals, salmon, BURRITOS, cheese, lot of sandwiches, etc.
Dairy: Milk, plant based milk, yogurt.
Baked Goods: breads, buns, cakes, pastries.
Meat: Hey- we still have TURKEY
Frozen: Tofurky!!!!, tortillas
DOG AND CAT FOOD!!!
Lots of drinks, coffee, teas and an abundance of canned goods- start grab your ingredients for JT Elementary’s Chili- Cook-off!!!!
Come rescue some incredible food tonight, don't forget to drop off some cash in the donation box and enjoy the somewhat warmer weather we are having!
