I finally got some bark collars delivered but they sent the wrong size. The ones I ordered said they’d fit up to 120 lbs , but the package was size small. I’m not sure how long it’s going to take to return and get the large ones . The bark collars Rich posted a link to were discontinued and I finally found some others that were affordable but wrong size . So far I’ve spent a couple hundred bucks on fines , collars and court costs . I thought I had plea bargained for combining the two cases , but no, I misunderstood or the DA didn’t explain it correctly. I postponed the last one until I can get discovery on the cases . It’s been tricky to get the reports and I didn’t have them for the first case . The animal control officer told me she couldn’t tell me which neighbors were calling but that they had recordings and logs on the barking and that they were sure they were my dogs . I’m noticing the part time dog across the pond is here today and he’s been barking a lot . I’ve been keeping mine inside most of the time and when I leave the house.
How about you just come to my house and I’ll pay you instead of calling animal control and getting me a summons and then I don’t have yo go to court several times. I had to go three times already and they don’t even have the arraignment until the second appearance. This is costing me a lot of time and money for gas and I’m falling behind in my classes now . I’m pretty sure it’s newer neighbors calling because as all of you that have been here for over 20 years, know we’ve always had dogs barking in the Bark Ranch and nobody ever called me in before this past summer.
I was confused about how the time was logged and thought it was 20 minutes of non stop barking and then after the second summons, I found out it’s cumulative, 20 minutes total per hour… could be several bark sessions added together. How are you keeping the logs? So I can time it the same? Also wondering if you’re using highly sensitive recording equipment? And if you even spend the cold days sitting on your deck with the recording device and keeping logs ??? I thought maybe people would spend more time inside during the winter months but apparently not…
Please just come talk to me directly and I’ll pay you $50 if I’m sure it was my dogs .
