Updates:
1.) Regarding the size of the proposed multi-use, wheeled track and its effect on the 4th of July celebration:
The EPIC committee has painted a blue line on the field running north/south. Although it's not a straight line or an exact representation, we're hoping this gives everyone a better idea of how much space the wheeled path area would use. The space is west of the tennis court pavilion and east of the backstop. THIS AREA DOES NOT INTERFERE WITH THE 4th CELEBRATIONS! Please take a look next time you are in the park.

2.) Vegetation ideas:
We have initiated conversations with CSU Horticulture & Landscape-extension office Boulder County. We are planning to collaborate with this department to determine which vegetation would be appropriate for our soil while also being a sustainable option considering care and maintenance of each.

3.) Ideas for placement of Multi-Use Field and Fire Pit:
Suggestions have been made to..
- rotate the multi-use field 90 degrees so that it is parallel with the creek and in the northwest corner of the park
~ move the fire pit area/gathering spot to a more central location (near its current location) and provide shade trees or shade structures around this area.

HELP US GATHER FEEDBACK!

Thank you-
EPIC committee

Hey Julie,

While you are working with the Horticulture folks can you ask their recommendations for dealing with our alfalfa invasion?
