Bar-K Another bear visit -- across from Rock Lake

Neighbors, we had a bear visit last night (maybe early this morning).  They got into a car, maybe attracted by an empty bag from McDonalds, and tore apart much of the interior (but did not harm my bike!).  They also got into the garage, either through the garage door, which has no handle on the outside, or a through a door with a handle that must be turned (both doors were open this morning).  They found garbage in the garage and dragged it out.  First time in a long time we've had bear visitor(s).

Thanks for your post, so sorry to hear of your damages.  OUR BEAR/s (not sure if it is one Bear or the Mama w/2 Cubs that have been sighted,
that we are dealing with).  Anyone who can share accurate sightings of OUR BEAR/s would be helpful.  

I have reached out to Michelle Durant in JT (SOB Group member & wildlife biologist with Boulder County).
She is in regular contact with our local CPW Officer, Joe Padia.  She is at a National Bear/Human Conflict seminar at Lake Tahoe right now.
She will present the issue to Joe for advice.  They have a tracking app to help them manage Our Bears. 

FOR THE RECORD:  Reporting to CPW, is NOT a death sentence for OUR BEARS!
Their mission is to SAVE as many Bears as possible.  That being said, Rogue Bears
breaking into homes etc, is not acceptable.
