Everyone Bobcat

Our cat goes out a lot and I figured that she was good at spotting critters and hiding. This morning she was out and I saw a bobcat approaching her. She turned and, after a brief staring contest, she chased away the bobcat. I guess even our pets are Mountain Strong !

That's one feisty feline ya got there Joe :O)

Hate to say it, your cat was lucky the bobcat possibly wasn't real hungry.

I think most predators 'size-up' a potential meal, its flight from your cat may have been a Risk-Benefit assessment, maybe it had never seen a domesticated version of itself.
It may now know the risk was minimal, it may return.
If the bobcat saw you, it could have been enough of a distraction for it to turn tail.
