THIS WEEK AT THE MERC!

It's a throw back local musician week! 

WEDNESDAY: Open Mic. Come join your neighbors, sing songs, eat burgers, drink drinks with bubbles. 5-9pm. 

THURSDAY: Music by Strangebyrds. Cari Minor and Ray Smith are award-winning singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists, crafting songs with a unique Americana sound they call "Blue Collar Folk". They've been playing the Merc for years and even got married at the Merc a few years ago! Dinner starts at 5pm. Music is 7-9pm. 

FRIDAY: Parkin Lot! Founded By Mike "Banker" Bank & Al Hagar in the Festival lot at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, this acoustic americana group has been playing the Merc for many years! Dinner is assorted tapas and french bread pizzas. Dinner starts at 5pm. Music is 7-9pm. 

SATURDAY: Burrito breakfasts, pastries, morning beverages. 10-2. 

SUNDAY: Full brunch menu, more morning beverages and muisc by Harper Powell! Once a month on Sundays we'll have an acoustic musician playing for brunch from 12-2. 

Harper Powell, age 23, is a law student at the University of Colorado, Boulder and is a native of the Salida, Colorado area. At age 9, Harper began performing at open mic nights at a local café and has gone on to perform at a number of venues around the front range. With a voice and songwriting style that draws from such artists as Sarah Jarosz, Gillian Welch, and Martha Scanlan, Harper combines her skills on the guitar, mandolin, and banjo to create her own unique sound.
