Trash Day is Saturday

As we begin a week where Tuesday is virtual Monday please remember and share that Trash Day is also one day off due to Labor Day.

Which I believe means Saturday will be both trash and recycle day in JT.

Hey all, newbie flatlanders here down at 4 Main at Julie and Matt's place.  Can someone tell us the hours for recycling pickup and what time of day the garbage truck comes around?  Thank you!!  Forever yours under a pile of cardboard moving boxes.... the Licata family

Hello Licata family - welcome to Jimtown! Here's the recycling information for this weekend - we have a Town recycling pickup once a month by Green Girl recycling:

This Saturday is RECYCLE SATURDAY!  

JT Monthly recycling this month will happen at the CHURCH PARKING LOT (Main Street, west of the Town Square)
SATURDAY, Sept. 9, 2023 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Gather up your bottles, cans, cardboard and other Single Stream and bring them down!  

To answer your other question, Western Disposal picks up trash on Fridays, although this week, because of Labor Day, it will be Saturday. Here's their website to set up service with them (unless Matt & Julie left you with arrangements). https://www.westerndisposal.com/residential/
