Lynx on Spruce

Just saw a dark grey lynx on Spruce heading down toward Texarado. Gorgeous!

Oooh how I hope to see this one too! I heard we have bobcats in these parts but hadn't heard that we also have lynx. What a treat.

I did the best I could with the identification.  It was about Jac's size, maybe even a little larger, grey, I couldn't see any spots from my distance and couldn't see the ears while it skedaddled away from barking Jac.  Whatever it was, it was a very exciting visit.

Here's what I googled to help figure it out - if it was gray, had a black tail, and extra long back legs - that sounds like a Lynx - very, very exciting!  Bobcats are very exciting, too - just more common because they Lynx has been recently reintroduced. YAY, wildlife!!!

We saw a bobcat near Rock Lake in the Bar-K Ranch a couple of weeks ago (Nov 24) -- got this photo.
