Great observations Klaus. After my conversations with insurance brokers and other research I have come to similar conclusions.  When basic necessities start getting ruled by profit and greed we unfortunately look to the government to regulate the industry, i.e. electricity, to keep it affordable.  I like the COOP idea a lot, sign me up!
