Just heard my first hummingbird of 2025 up here on Spruce Street!  Too fast for me to see it yet.  Yay!!  They're baaaaack!

The hummers also returned to Springdale on the 22nd!  They're back indeed!

I've had a feeder out since the first week of April, but had the first male Broad-tailed hummingbird yesterday at 7:30 a.m.  With 3" of fresh snow this morning, I poured warm water over the feeders to melt the snow off.  No hummer yet but I'm looking at a Band-tailed Pigeon on my tray feeder.  It's our native mountain pigeon.

I hope we get more snowfall like this without sub-freezing temps.
