MOUNTAIN FOOD RESCUE
#1
FREE FOOD PANTRY TONIGHT!  5:30 - 6:30 PM
At the Food Barn next to the Tennis Courts in the Big Park.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
Please bring your own bags or boxes.
Remember how much bread and pastries we had last week? Well not so much this week Huh However, we did get lots of packaged produce, greens, salad fixings, potatoes,
onions, sweet peppers, and some squash. We did get quite a bit of fresh prepared meals and foods. A nice amount of really good cheese. Some fun specialty items, chips,
some more of Bob's apple cider, canned goods, milk, and butter, Chicken thighs and breasts etc.  If you haven't noticed our canned good supply is dwindling. We have a health dept
inspection scheduled for this week and are in the process of finalizing our contract to handle pest control. Both of these items must be done before we can get approval for our
application for the Community Food Share program. The annual fee for the Food Share program is $500 and the pest control will be approx. $300 for the equipment and $60 a month for service.  Becoming a member of CFS will allow us access to many different food products. Cereals, grains, pasta, legumes, peanut butter, tuna, and all manner of canned goods.  If you haven't already donated money to the pantry and can do so, it would be very helpful at this time! You can leave a cash donation or a check made out to JACF in the donation box on the specialty table.
ONE MORE THING! If you have always wanted to volunteer at the pantry but didn't know what jobs needed doing or how to do them, we have a need right now for drivers to do the Monday food pickups in Boulder (approx 10:30 - 12:30) and for people to distribute food on Monday evenings (5:15 - 6:45). If you are interested please contact Lynnie @
lynniemiddledorf@gmail.com or text me at 3o3-444-o419.
Hope to see you tonight to rescue some really great food!
