FOOD PANTRY TONIGHT!  MONDAY DECEMBER 11   5:30 - 6:30pm
PLEASE, PLEASE BE CAREFUL TONIGHT ON CEMETERY ROAD AND in THE PARKING LOT!
WE WERE VERY FORTUNATE TO FIND A LOCAL SNOW PLOW PERSON TO PLOW CEMETERY ROAD AND THE PARKING LOT THIS MORNING.
We hope you all filled out the snow plow
survey the Town Board put out, finding a snow plow these days is as rare as hen's teeth! Our snow plow hero
made it possible for us to bring in today's food and make it safe enough to hold the pantry tonight.  That being said, everyone still needs to take care driving
tonight. There's one spot in the parking lot that didn't get plowed because I managed to get stuck there this morning before the plowing was done
Blush
We were able to pay our plower because of the donations from all of you!  Plowing isn't cheap these days, it takes a lot of $$ to maintain a plow truck and
then there is always the cost of gas, and time spent.  So if you are wondering where the donation money is going, this is where the majority of the money we get is spent. Today we lucked out and we had to pay less than what we have been quoted by other contractors who are available to do this job. Please consider leaving a donation tonight so we can save up for the next storm!

NOW ONTO THE FOOD PART OF THIS MESSAGE!
A really fun pantry tonight! Lots of baking supplies, kitchen staples like salad dressings, jello, brownie and cake mixes, balsamic vinegar, vanilla, pesto, and chili sauces, Halloween Cookie house kits, kids shampoo/conditioner/body wash fun products. Lots of prepared foods, cut up fruit, packaged salad greens, guacamole, dips, salsas, milk, eggnog, cheese. Not a lot of produce but we do have oranges, apples, pears, some potatoes, and sweet peppers. We hope that you know someone who needs a cake! We have lots of really good looking (and expensive) cakes. Also pies, cookies, croissants, muffins, bagels, bread, and rolls. We have lots of chips, snacks, candy, and a multitude of drinks. We were able to get some meat too!  Chicken thighs, burger, ground turkey, pork tenderloin, spare ribs, and other frozen yummies like ice cream!  We also picked up more light bulbs. Don't forget our canned goods, and a crazy amount of crackers!

DRIVE SAFE!  CONSIDER LEAVING A DONATION TO HELP US WITH SNOW PLOWING! HAVE A TERRIFIC NIGHT RESCUING SOME AWESOME FOOD!
Thanks again to all our volunteers for making this possible!
