weavers and spinners

Hi  Are there any other spinners and/or weavers around Jamestown? I am planning on setting up a tent for demonstrating weaving and spinning at the July 4 th fair. Looking for people to join me. I will bring a  4 shaft floor loom that folks can weave on, and two spinning wheels that I will use. Please consider coming to hang out and weave on any type of loom you want to bring or bring your spinning wheel or drop/support spindles.Bring a chair if you have one. I will also bring a table and maybe my book charkha.

I would love to learn as well Sue! I have used a drop spindle very clumsily and that's about all I got

How exciting! I haven't spun & wove since a bit after high school. I'll be there. I will bring my cotton spinning boxes from India! Don't have anything else anymore...I had it all and a huge 4 heddle hand hewn loom!  But maybe get re-inspired!! Thanks Sue!
