attracting hummingbirds but not bears

If you want to get visits from hummingbirds without attracting bears…I highly recommend petunias and salvia. I have a few planted in pots on my porch every year and the hummingbirds visit them all the time. I honestly don’t know if they are actually getting any nectar or just searching and leaving empty handed, but they at least come check them out all the time. they also seem to like this red plastic cup that accidentally got left out..
