Greetings neighbors, Our landline just went out late morning. Is anyone else having Centurylink landline outages? Rachel and Jeff

Hey all - David posted in a thread below this one:

Along with the power, JT (and assuming Bar-K generally) is without internet or phone. There is apparently internet at the Elementary school. I am talking with CenturyLink about getting their backup system fired up in Jamestown so that we can at least have communications where there is backup power, like the Firehall. Hopefully things will get restored as we go into this winter (finally) blast. Hang tight!

Thanks for letting me know it's not just us. I notified Centurylink of an outage via their online account system. If you can, logging onto your account and reporting the outage might accelerate service. Right now they are scheduling a visit Tuesday sometime.

We haven’t had any power or internet since yesterday late morning. In town checking messages and no word on restoration. So hope they are bringing us back online before Tuesday!

Power is fully back for me over on Tilghman, but Century Link is not. My phones have no dial tone.

The earliest a tech can get here is Thursday which is unacceptable considering it’s the only way of communicating if the power goes out. If your phone is out, please report it so we can hopefully get someone here sooner:

Speaking of power my power is on but definitely not full power. 105 V is what I'm measuring.
Bulbs are dim, microwave not really working, kind of a brown out. Anyone else having this?

We have full power down on Ridge Rd. 122 volts on each phase.
