BEAR on MESA JT!
#1
Hey Billies ~

CHUBBY BLACK Juvenile BEAR on Mesa St.  8AM.
Mark and I gave him The HORNs and he rolled down toward the Post Office.

Lila was on top of this guy!  She would not give it up.  Then I finally saw him from my front porch.

GOOD GIRL LILA !  ^-_-^

He's back!  Chubby Black Juvenile trying (w/out luck) to get into my neighbor's BEAR CAN for a midnight snack.

I ran BUBBA off but I am sure he is not far.  So icy you can't walk Mesa St without spikes.

That bear may not have enough body fat stored to head for the den yet.
A big Thanksgiving dinner is what it needs, then it will head straight for the couch for a good nap  Big Grin

Hey Hollis ~

Bubba came back up on Mesa an hour later.  (They never go far unless you chase them). Lila was on top of it again!
I chased him off again.

I appreciate the info Hollis.  I was thinking about him too.  This is his first year alone, probably born last February.
He is quite FAT!  Which is good.  It has been warm and Bears eating non-natural foods often have a different
hibernation cycle than true wild bears. Their hibernation cycle is shorter.

Maybe you can include him for your Thanksgiving Feast Hollis?  Got a spare bedroom.  Maybe a roomie?
Just for the winter.  He seems to like our neighborhood.

I hope I see him in the spring!  I do!  I love OUR BEARS.  They are the coolest animals.
