My foster dog Henri wanted to introduce himself! He's looking for a home and would be a perfect mountain dog. I'm fostering through https://www.blackhathumanesociety.org/ where some of our favorite JT/BAR-K dogs like Tupelo and Teddy & Wyatt are from!
If you have any questions or are interested in Henri feel free to reach out by text/call at 781-four92-four180 or reply here on the BB

Hi!
My name is Henri, I'm a little over a year old, and I've been told that I'm 60lbs of pure, certified lover boy!
I was found on the Navajo Nation this summer and taken in by a nice lady who got me my shots and got me neutered, woof, not my favorite . Anyway, I wasn't full grown this summer, but I am now! I just moved to a new foster home in Jamestown, and I think I kinda like it here!
Someone said that I have "lab energy"... whatever that means! I just really love my people and want to be around them and have their attention 24/7 and maybe follow them to the bathroom to make sure they don't forget about me in those 2 minutes. I'm also super into this thing my foster human calls "couch," it's just so comfy so I spend a lot of time there snuggling by myself or ideally with foster dog sister or foster human. I sleep in a crate at night and I'm getting pretty good at going in on my own when it's bedtime, 2025 new year, new me!
Did I mention I love people?! I just want them to pet me all the time, and sometimes I get a little excited and jump up for a hug, but I'm really working on it... and let's be honest, the humans want the hugs too. I ride pretty well in the car, humble brag: I've never gotten carsick on these canyon roads even though my foster mom drives like a maniac! Sometimes we go to breweries and meet people and dogs and have snacks after a hike, it's the best!
I also LOVE other dogs, literally every single one I've met. My foster sister Becky and I play all the time, and we haven't even known each other that long! I'll share treats with her but I prefer to dine separately from other pets for my meals, think mafia boss in the wood-paneled empty back room of a restaurant with a napkin tucked into my collar. I'm totally okay sharing my food with people, with some trust, stability, and training I really think sharing food around other dogs is something I can work on!
I need exercise to keep up my peak physical form... I mean have you seen how handsome I am?! I'd love a yard to run around in or someone that walks every day! Once I've got my exercise it's right back to the couch though... although I might need a few minutes of zoomies in the house before I settle down! I am a big fan of plush toys and soft things in general. I especially like clothing and shoes that smell like my humans, I don't destroy them I just want to bring them around with me to show how much I love you... and maybe get a little attention!
My history with cats and small children is mostly unknown. I spent a night at another foster's house on my way here and I was interested in her cats but didn't chase them, I can probably be trained to leave them alone.
If I had a theme song it would be "Somebody to Love" by Justin Bieber... I just need somebody to loooooooooovvveeeee!
Could you be that somebody?! If so, contact my personal assistant, I mean foster mom, Claire, to meet me or to get more info!
