Job Opportunities at Cal-Wood Education Center:
1. Prep Cook / Dishwasher: We are seeking a part time morning prep cook / dishwasher to start as soon as possible. This is a perfect job for students, retired food service people, culinary interns, or anyone looking for some extra hours! Ideal candidate has a desire to learn about food preparation, can stand on their feet for long periods of time and take pride in a job well-done: whether it be in serving meals, assisting with food prep, doing the dishes or kitchen clean-up. 2. Custodian: We are seeking a part time custodian to start as soon as possible. This is a perfect job for students, retired people, or anyone looking for some extra hours and money! This position includes 4-5 days of work per week and up to 4 hours of work each day depending on the schedule of visiting groups. Bigger cleaning days (usually Wednesdays and Fridays) include cleaning the cabins, lodge bathrooms and the main lodge (including the dining hall, main offices, and staff bathroom). Daily cleaning includes the customer bathrooms and main areas of the lodge (about 2 hours). Positions can be combined to be a full time position that is then eligible for benefits including insurance, vacation, sick leave and more.
