Well, happy to report there were no shenanigans. What I learned? My key fits other mailboxes. Also, my key still fits my original mailbox. However, when your parcel should have been placed in one of the bigger boxes, but the delivery person decided to force it into the smaller box jamming the locking mechanism inside,it acts justl like it’s a key problem. The package was actually damaged from the lock mechanism inside, trying to puncture it. I’m sure the methods I used to get my box open would violate some federal law and certainly the language I used was best left for a different situation, but I got my package! Way to go USPO at least there was a happy ending. Stay warm, everyone.
